WHAT ARE INK-BLOTS?
The “Ink-blot Test”, also known as "The Rorschach Test” was originally invented by Hermann Rorschach (1884-1922)
as a psychology/personality test used by psychiatrists on their patients.
A patient will look into a series of 10 inkblots (Some in color and some in black and white.) and say what they see. What
they see is supposed to be a reflection of the patient's fantasies, personality, and their current mental state.
None of the images on this site are actual Rorschach created by Hermann Rorschach. Click HERE for information on the
actual Rorschach images that were created by Herman Rorschach.
TELL US WHAT YOU SEE IN THESE INK-BLOTS.
To make this site more interesting we want you to send us e-mails telling us what you see in these ink-blots. We plan on
putting some of the most interesting and crazy things that people from all over the world have seen in these ink-blots on
the site for everyone to read.
Remember: What you see in an ink-blot is a reflection of your fantasies, your personality, and your current mental state. So
the more interesting, creative, and crazy you are, the more interesting, imaginative, and crazy things you will see in these. And
the more crazy you are, the crazier things you will see.
To e-mail us what you see in these ink-blot tests, simply click the ink-blot (s) that you wish to interpret and it will take
you to a page with an e-mail address for that particular ink-blot.
If we use one of your quotes about what you see in one of these ink-blot tests we will credit you by putting your name and
where you are from beside your quote if you want us to. So if you want to be credited please be sure that you at least leave a
name. (If you don't, leave a name it will be labeled as being by "anonymous".)
INK-BLOT TEST WALLPAPER...
In the future we will be selling wallpaper for houses with these ink-blot images on them. There will be 2 different sets of
wallpaper. The first set will be in Black and White and the second set will be in Color. Each set will have 100 different ink-
blots on them! We will also be selling individual prints of all of the ink-blots in frames as well.
The wallpaper will be sold once there are 100 Ink-blots in Black and White and 100 Ink-blots in Color on this site.
Right now there are
60 Ink-blots in Black and White
40 Ink-blots in Color
New Ink-blots will be posted when they are finished.
(Because the word “Wallpaper” usually means “Desktop Wallpaper” on the Internet, sometimes people that find this site think
that since it’s called “Ink-blot Test Wallpaper” that these images were meant to be used as desktop wallpaper for computers.
They were never actually designed for that purpose. If you do want to use these images for desktop wallpaper, we suggest
that you use the small thumbnail images for that and not the bigger images... It usually looks better that way.)
