The "Ink-blot Test" (Also known as "The Rorschach Test") was originally invented by Hermann Rorschach (1884-1922)

In an "Ink-blot Test" a psychiatrist will show his patient a series of 10 ink-blots (some in black and white and some in
color) and
he will ask the patient to describe what they see in them.  What they see in the ink-blot is supposed to be a
reflection of their personality, Their fantasies, and their current mental state.
